Sound walk for kadenze course introduction to sound and acoustic sketching. This particular walk was recorded at dick nichols park in south austin, texas. Highlights include basketball playing, cars driving, birds chirping, some walking sound, and kids playing.

The morning after christmas 2022 on hood canal. There was a king tide that came up over the stone wall. A king tide occurs when the sun, moon, and earth are in alignment and the combined gravitational pull causes water levels to rise dramatically. I took this recording right next to the pilings where the dock is connected. You can hear the water hitting the metal and wood as it knocks it around. The water eventually washed over the road.

Monster noises made using heavy granular synthesis, formant and pitch-shifting on a female voice.

I made this melody in garageband for something called victors crypt. It's based on a melody i made on trumpet. Then i added some synthezizers to get more atmosphere and exitment to it. I recorded myself running my fingers across a metal radiator, and myself saying i see dead people. I then edited it on audacity.
